After you’ve created your survey, it’s time to collect responses. Please note that Survio is unable to provide a list of respondents for you, nor can we conduct surveys on your behalf. You need to distribute the survey in order to get responses.

Note: We strongly recommend that you test your survey before you distribute it. Make sure that your survey functions correctly, contains everything you want, and that there are no grammatical errors in it.

1. Click on either Get Responses or the Share in the top part of the survey builder. The latter option opens a pop-up window over the survey builder.

2. Select which method(s) you want to use to distribute your survey. You can share your survey on social media, print a QR code, create an email invitation campaign, print a physical copy of the survey, or simply share the survey’s URL address to your respondents. You can also embed the survey on your website.

The survey’s URL address can be customized to give a personal flair to your survey. The personalised survey URL lets you change the latter part of the URL - the identifier.
Example: https://www.survio.com/survey/d/U4I9A4D1S9W6N2I6M can be changed to something like https://www.survio.com/survey/d/NPS-may-24

A note on identifying your respondents

All respondents are anonymous by default. This is important to keep in mind if you want to identify your respondents, as you’ll need to either invite your respondents with an e-mail invitation campaignGET parametersor Text answers. We cover these topics in more detail in the linked articles.

Will my survey, its URL address or invitation campaign expire?

No, unless you disable the survey, or set a deadline, your survey will not expire and will be available to answer.

After you’ve collected enough answers, it’s time to head over to the Results section to analyze your results.
