Procedure for free accounts

Note: If you made a typo during registration please contact our support team. You will not be able to change your email address if you made a typo, as a verification code will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your Survio account.

1. Navigate to your account settings by clicking on your initials in the upper right corner, then Account. Click on the field containing your e-mail address.

2. Enter your password. 

3. Enter your new e-mail address. To prevent spelling mistakes, you need to enter your e-mail address twice.

4. A verification code will be sent to your new e-mail address. The code is valid for 5 minutes.

5. After you’ve verified the change, you’ll be logged out and can log in again using your new e-mail address.  A confirmation of the change will be sent to your e-mail address. The password will not be changed.

Procedure for accounts with an active subscription

The procedure for users with an active subscription is the same as for free users, but with a small difference.

If you have an active subscription and want to transfer ownership to another colleague, the current owner will receive a confirmation code to their inbox. This is to ensure that the rightful owner confirms the change. 

Please note that changing the e-mail address associated with your account does not update your billing information. You can use the self-service solution hosted by our payment processor Stripe to update your billing information: Stripe/Survio - Self service portal
